Citrus Fest at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company: An Incredible Food Selection with an Amazing Atmosphere

There are not many things better than having 20 local food trucks parked in the same parking lot and open for business! Especially when those food trucks happen to be parked next to an awesome brewery and there is free parking across the street. And this is not just a dream because the Citrus Fest on August 13th was amazing!

The Citrus Fest 2022

Citrus Fest was put on by 407 Food Fair and MAM Events Orlando at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company. The festival featured over 20 local vendors selling delicious food and drinks. There was an amazing variety, and the festival had such a fun and inviting atmosphere. I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to eat, and I was not even close to being able to try everything I wanted. However, have no fear as the 407 Food Fair is hosting another festival on September 10th! I will get back to that one in a little bit, but first I want to talk about the Citrus Fest!

I have included the flier from 407 Food Fair below to give you an idea of just how many amazing options there were! There were trucks selling teas, donuts, noodles, pizza, quesadillas and so much more. I think there was truly something for everyone and it was definitely a family-friendly festival. The trucks are parked in the parking lot of the brewery, however there were lots of kids having a wonderful time and enjoying all the delicious food!

Our Food Selections

Let me start off by saying that everything we tried was amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food. So without further ado, I present the food to you!

Brooke’s Mac Bowl with Pulled Pork from Brock’s Florida Barbecue – $9

I am a huge mac & cheese fan and I enjoyed this dish so much! The mac & cheese was perfectly creamy and cheesy, and the toppings were perfection. The pulled pork was tender, the crispy fried onions added the perfect crunch and the BBQ sauces were scrumptious. It was such a complete bite and I highly recommend this dish!

Chicken Tinga Quesadilla from The Pass Kitchen – $13

My boyfriend got the quesadilla, but he let me try a bit of it and I have to say it was fantastic. He got the chicken tinga option and it was so flavorful. The tortilla had the perfect crunch, and the filling was yummy! It came with two things of salsa and a lime for even more flavor!

Honey Cuban from Kappy’s Food Truck – $8.70

This was probably my favorite dish, although they were all so delicious. The Honey Cuban has all the amazingness of a Cuban sandwich with the addition of honey mustard and orange blossom honey. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory encapsulated in some delicious bread. I probably would have gotten another one, but I managed to snag the last one they had!
